One of the region’s biggest transport operators has shown their support for The People’s Project.

Lisa Pearson, Head of Marketing for Arriva North West and Wales attended The People’s Project roadshow in Liverpool City Centre to back Everton Football Club’s plans for a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and a community-led legacy at Goodison Park.

As one of the key transport providers in the city of Liverpool and the North West, Lisa learned more about the plans for a stadium; including the transport strategy for both matchdays and non-matchdays as well what could possibly go on the Goodison Park site as part of a Legacy Project.

Lisa also tried the virtual reality headset offering 360-views of the latest designs for Bramley-Moore Dock before completing the consultation survey and showing her support.

Lisa said; “What I’ve seen so far in the plans from EFC for the new stadium, it just looks absolutely incredible… This whole consultation roadshow is absolutely brilliant. It’s really clear that the Club want to keep everyone from football fans to city stakeholders involved and up to date on the progress of the new stadium and for us all to understand the role we play in the project as well.”
