The People’s Project roadshow visited Crosby Lakeside on Saturday 10th August, the 13th day of the 20-day long roadshow. The team invited Sefton Central MP, Bill Esterson to read about the latest plans for a stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and a Legacy Project at Goodison Park. The plans, which will deliver 15,000 jobs and a £1b boost to the local economy were commended by Bill who said; “It’s a fantastic regeneration of Bramley-Moore Dock and of Goodison but so many jobs, so much opportunity for people right across this part of the Liverpool City Region to get involved and a really exciting example of how to do regeneration and to make sure that the local communities are full engaged and people benefit”
